Here a boulder has separated from the main cliffline, creating an interesting place to climb. A fall is pretty much ok here, as long as you miss the sides of the cliff on your way down. Aim between for deep water between these walls...

This is on the East side of the park, where a boulder has separated from the cliff. The cliffline itself runs a VERY LONG WAY up the East side of the park peninsula, there is probably more than a mile of deep water soloing pleasure here. Dihedrals, overhangs, slabs, aretes; it's quite amazing. The lake level is down quite a ways in this pic, a lot of whitish-colored choss is exposed. Rock quality isn't the best near the water, but up high it is grade A rock. I'm surprised to not find ANY info of this area online, I found it by accident at the park.

There are so many lines here. Very sharp, very bouldery! I'm sure you could find a 13 if you wanted.

Pace Bend Park. This is a ~35ft. cliff at N. Marshal Cove...there are a couple of bolted routes on this section, as well as a huge crack for easy walk-offs. N. Marshal is an awesome place...

Maybe you have seen this area, maybe not. Just outside of Austin is Pace Bend park. Several coves have overhanging cliffs into deep water. Nice way to beat the heat.

No rope, no crash pad, and the only pro you need is sunscreen.
