Out of the woods

Average Rating = 3.00/5 Out of the woods

That would me me on the oh-so-nice the-crux-is-over jug of Jernejeve sanje, a really beautiful .11c (7a or a+, depending on who you ask, though the FAer claims that i cant be harder than 6c+) in Kotečnik, Slovenia. Maybe i shouldve climbed it earlier in the day (it was the next-to-last route) because at the moment the pic was taken i was totally pumped and my arms were starting to cramp. Hence the strange look on my face. I really thought i was gonna peel a few moves back and reaching the rest was a real blessing.

but now i at least have a new profile pic. photo by Matej Koren.

Clip or flip... literaly

Average Rating = 2.00/5 Clip or flip... literaly

This is me at clip two or so moves into the crux of Jernejeve sanje. If you cant hold the badish sidepull while clipping, you go for a nice ride. It was about my 10th route that day so i was pretty tired. Still sent it though. A really beautifull route too. Photo by Matej Koren. Any input welcome.

A perfect winter day in Črni Kal

Average Rating = 2.00/5 A perfect winter day in Črni Kal

When we started from Celje, it was clowded and freezing and snow all over the place (still is in fact). When we got to Postojna (about 20min drive to go) the sky cleared. Snow wanished about 3km (2 miles) from the crag. And this is the outcome. The sky actually was THAT blue, the temps were perfect and the only bad thing about it was that the day was kinda short.

I am pumped... almost

Average Rating = 2.86/5 I am pumped... almost

This is Jernej Kruder trying to onsight Manjana, a 5.13a in Mišja peč, Slovenia and you can tell by hes expression that hes really enjoying it.

Well, he didnt make it. He fell on a long move after the crux and just before the anchors. He sent it on hes second try though. He made it look so easy that i almost decided to give it a try.
And hes only 14.

Luska on a sunny autumn day

Average Rating = 0.00/5 Luska on a sunny autumn day

These are perfect conditions for climbing. Rock is totally dry, the temps are just fine and the sun is shining. A really good end of a really crappy season.

Damn Those Polished Holds

Average Rating = 3.33/5 Damn Those Polished Holds

This is me during my onsight bid on Kindergarten, a super-polished .11d in Mišja peč, Slovenia.

It was supposed to be "a really beautifull, sustained route", but what i got was super polished pumpfest that spit me off a few moves after this clip. MAYBE ill go back and try to RP it, but i doubt i will be in the near future. i hate polished holds.

Kotecnik-Luska

Average Rating = 0.00/5 Kotecnik-Luska

This is the left part of the Luska section with some of the routes marked for easier orientation. This is not the optimal angle for a topo shot and the route locations are kinda general (the best i could do with such a bad angle). But it will help you to get a better picture of the section.

Average Rating = 2.80/5 celebration

This is how you celebrate a good ascent. Bostjan Bozic after a 2nd attempt (he succeded) of Kajla (french 6c), a little overhanging face climb with consistant difficulty. In short, if youd like to onsight a 6c, this is your route.
