Crimping on both the upper and the lower 'rails'

This is how I was able to pull through the 'crux' of brown power. Instead of trying to slap one of the two 'pockets' pinch between them, makes the problem very much easier.

This is the V5 to the right of brown power. I don't remember the name, but it is one of the best lines I've yet to do. The crimps hurt so bad, it is hard to type today, 5 days later.

I just screwed up a move on second coming, so i lowered so I could take a short break to try again. I had that dumb thing wired and still screwed it up, but finally sent YEAH FOR SOFT 12's!!!!

This is the 'cave' at dove creek. I found the place last week while in san angelo. It doesn't look like many people have climbed here. The rock may be some form of limestone, but is a conglomerate, that is not very well held together under the cave and at the lip. I broke many holds and was only able to start with hands at head level. If you get stuck in san angelo for long periods of time this might be a place to hang out at, if your patient and very strong.

This thing is probably closer to 11d, if you're over 6', but 12a for everyone else. (I only say this cause if I had to climb it the way Ken is in the other photo it would be at least 12a if not harder).

The best 5.9 in the area. great place to warm up for the better routes at asbury park.

I played around on this problem with kendra, she was busting some big moves for 5'4".

I met some cool people in Bishop this is Kat and I think his name is Chad. They were from So-cal. They were nice enough to show me some problems around the Happies.

This problem starts just left of a V5 on the southwest side of more power less water. Perfect warmups on the east side.

This weekend there will be a climbing area clean up, and restoration work. Hope to see you there!

I would love to lead at this level. The rock is soo good. I will hopefully be in little cottonwood alot more this summer.

This climb is sooooo fun, but sooooo pumpy, you start in a bouldery corner, climb a varying finger crack and then you get to a slanting hand crack (where I'm at) then the burn comes, bad feet and insecure hand jams!

This route (mexican crack) is classic for good reason, it is fun and challenging. Brian looks soooo solid, and he rarely climbs Trad.

This crack is SOOOO good, with moderates this good its hard to care about grades!!! Brian Petty is leading this with style.

Cannonball at Fucoidal Quartzite in Logan Canyon. Rated 10c but probably harder for shorter people because the feet are sparse and greasy, and gets greasier every year.
