Big Sandy LedgeMe on Big Sandy, 17th pitch. This bivy is neither big nor sandy. It took three ropes to fill in the holes to sleep.

almost to the topThis photo is taken of me on the 23rd pitch of the " Regular Northwest Face" route of Half Dome in Yosemite. My first big wall! In the background you can see Tenaya Peak in Tuolumne Meadows. The large face in the lower left hand side of the picture is Mount Watkins. What a beautiful view and man it was high up there.

Nearing the top of the RNWFMe following one of the last pitches of the RNWF, climbing with the piglet on the back! Luckily by this time it was mostly empty and not too heavy.

Following the Robbins Death ChimneyWe chose the 5.9 squeeze free variation, thinking it'd be faster. Shay had no idea what he was getting into ;)
After two hours of his grunting and me wondering how I was going to rap the wall with his dead body and a haulbag he topped out and muttered something about squeeze chimneys being the bane of his existence.
