We hit Spire the day before Dome, near the end of the Traverse, August, 2003

Glissading off Dome Dropping off Dome, we did a long standing Glissade, went on for hundreds of feet, then we plopped down to arrest and start walking back to camp above Cub Lake

Cool ridge off of Dome's true summit. The catwalk summit ridge is somewhat hairy, but this thing looks scary...

Final trudge up the snow to the rock ridge of Dome. The place is beautiful. Dome was bittersweet, it marked the lsat summit for our Ptarmigan trip. We climbed five peaks along the way, and gained in admiration for the original Ptarmigans.

Finally heading out of the high country after 6 days above tree line in the N. Cascades. That shirt was getting pretty rank...

Believe this was from Spider-Formidible col, before drop to Yin-Yang lakes below Leconte. Dome, Gunsight off in the distance. Trip was made in '03, so memory is foggy, but what a glorious view!

This is Luke and Bob on the South Side of Dome Peak. This area had a lot of loose rock so we moved through quickly.
