The Book

Average Rating = 0.00/5 The Book

Honestly I was expecting something more than a high school journal. Oh well, it was worth the trip, if not for the book, for the view!

Winding Path Up the Coleman Glacier

Average Rating = 0.00/5 Winding Path Up the Coleman Glacier

This shot was taken by me during an Alpine Leadership course with the American Alpine Institute. We are on our way to alpine ice climbing practice on the seracs above on the Coleman Glacier of Mt. Baker. We had all previously summited Baker via the Easton Glacier route, and this side of the mountain offered us a whole different perspective on the mountain.

Climb High

Average Rating = 0.00/5 Climb High

My friend took this photo of me with my tatoo in the forground with Mount Baker in the backround. I tried to really make the "Climb High" stand out. We traversed the Coleman Glacier and the climbed next to the Roman Wall the next day and summited.

We climbed it pretty early in the season (Memorial Day) and the ice was remarkably lousy.

MOUNT BAKER: Resting at 10,000feet in cold, windy conditions

Average Rating = 3.00/5 MOUNT BAKER: Resting at 10,000feet in cold, windy conditions

This was taken as we took a breather on the descent in pretty ugly conditions after topping out in cold but sunny weather
