Loved Climbing at devils lake, What a beautiful place to climb and craging is so easy. Old school ratings and a different type of rock, slick with numurous holds and jugs when needed. Did alot of lead climbing there and had say there is some burly shit offered at DL, adventure and creativity is a plus, all in 75 feet. Will definitly go there every year if possible.

a gorgeous february day, aiding up birch tree crack. with only a limited amount of large cams aiding this requires some long stretches to good hook moves between gear placements.

This is a shot I took of Chris working some of the early moves of "The Stretcher," a really fun 5.9/5.10a on Pedestal Buttress at the lake. The climb is really balancy, with long moves on thin holds. The picture was taken from a rope thrown on "The End."

upper diagonal makes a pretty dang good practice aid climb. my partner has lead it the last couple of times we've been out and he's starting to get the hang of the old thrash and dangle. with a contant traverse its a good workout on your cleaning skills as well.

OB following Rageman up Upper D. Photo by Killer. This is probably the most historic ascent of this climb. Shortly after this shot Killer himself followed up the route and barely reached the top after several close calls.

Heres a pic of me seconding Upper D. This was a challenging 5.9 and im considering never doing it again. I was grumpy upon finishing it because the moves were so stiff and jacked in some spots. Maybe ill return to it someday, who knows.

Congratulations, First done by John Gill is still a good lead. Gill did it solo! Not really too bad of a lead cuz the crux is just off the deck.
