A beautiful place and a beautiful line. This is in the riverside area at Joe's Valley. I believe it's a V2. Jake Miller is the climber, photography by Andy Watanabe

First thought to be V8 slab climbing this classic problem is a bit easier for those height-inclined climbers who can reach high on the left arete.

Cruising The Rail on a fine Joe's Valley morning. Beautiful line to warm up on and one of the most aesthetic and enjoyable V1's in existance.

This is me on one of the problems on the riverside boulder. Its a two move wonder. I thought it was fun. Notice how much we take along with us. All terrain reefs, zone bars, iron hand. We're definately ready to boulder.

This is me on the riverside traverse. A great problem. Just be wary when the stream is running high.

The Riverside is pretty much a warm-up area, but with some creativity you can really make things interesting. Jamesmonster finishes the long traverse on the Riverside Boulder.
