The descent has been a long one. Our double ropes were brand new and kept entangling each other... but at least we beat the rain...

The Bass Buttress is to the right of the pine tree. You can see the Kraut Pinnacle which holds the first three pitches. The route turns the corner of the Buttress and continues.
