Hot day, nuthin' to do but sew up a moderate. Cobweb is an enjoyable line but it has seen way too much traffic in the previous years. Most of the holds are worn to the point of being "caramelized". Very slippery smears on this climb.

Just me at the begining of my first full season of climbing (2005). This day we we experienced rain, snow and hail, with brief minutes of clear skies for climbs.

This was my first trad lead at Rattlesnake Point, and one of my favorite climbs. A very fun 5.8. The anchor at the top takes a little work because of the lack of cracks ontop of the pinnacle. There are reamains of 2 old pins. A #1 and 2 cam are useful on top along with a blue tricam. The photograph was taken by my friend Scott.

This "5.9" in Rattlesnake Point, Milton, is a prime example of an Ontario sandbag. Look at the strenuous face climbing and difficult pro! The crux for Wolfang (my partner and climber in the photo) was just above him, having to make difficult 5.10 moves to a ledge above. The route starts by pulling a small overhang (bottom of pic), then very difficult face climbing and protection up to a rest (where he is in the photo) and finishes up that slightly overhanging section you see above him.
