Dave getting ready to rap down. Definitely a fun easy route worth doing on the West Face.

I love climbing , I love the mechanics of climbing but just some days the view is just too nice to work.

The group is getting the racks rationalised; we all are just learning here.

Aj (photo by) was resting on this multi pitch and tossing small peddles into my hiking shoes, my climbing shoes hurt enough that I did not notice when I put my hiking shoes on.

My climbing partner, Wolfang, greets me at the top of "Holy Cow" 5.8, at Rattlesnake Point in Milton, ON. It was a hot and muggy day, which explains our lack of appropriate clothing on our upper bodies... or rather, more specifically, on my whitened and rather puny upper body...

This picture gives you a pretty good idea of the start to Holy Cow, a rather solid 5.8 at Rattlesnake Point. The open book in the picture goes up a few more metres, before moving right from that terrifyingly large roof! The move over the slightly overhanging section is enough to make anyone's day (or not).

My friend Steve negotiates a tiny crack between the routes Meridian and Maverick on the west cliff of Rattlesnake Point. It's a nasty crack, but there's a nice wide ledge to rest on just above it. Photo taken by spike_in_milton July 1/02 in 35C weather (45C with the humidex... bring lots of water ;-).
