Sherpa's setting prayer flags during a puja at Ama Dablam (or is it just a good reason to get drunk on Chang)

My self-portrait on the summit of Ama Dablam. Pumori is the peak visible in the background. I stayed on top for about an hour and a half before starting the endless series of rappels down to C2.

This picture was taken at Camp 3 on Ama Dablam in Nepal. I'm simply posting this picture to go in my profile so people have a face to put with my name.

A perfect moment of a perfect day - passing the hanging glacier on the way to the summit.

Larry is just about to enter the mixed section on the way to Camp 3. Camp 2 is located on top of the tower in the background. This tower brings the pure rock climbing section of the route to a close and goes free at a difficult 5.7. Tents in Camp 1 can also be seen further down the ridge.

Looking out our tent door at Camp 2 on the South-west ridge of Ama Dablam. The peak seen through the tent door is Malanphulan (5573m). It was truly a beautiful sight to wake up to.

This picture was taken from Camp 2 on the South-West ridge of Ama Dablam. It had looked like we would get hit by a snow storm, but it broke just before reaching the mountian and provided a spectacular sunset.
