Justin Power warms up on the classic V4 in the Hollow Mtn Cave. Note, no pad, as the ground is only cms from his back.

Justin Warms up on the classic V4, the roof being too low at the bottom of the cave to fit a pad underneath.

Hollow Mountain Cave is the home to some of Australia's hardest boulder problems, made famous on the video Eos II. During the winter months, starved for some real rock action, a small group of us trecked out to have a go at some of what the place has to offer.
While we were there we came across a lone boulderer working one of the harder problems in the cave. Photo: Emily Butler 35mm print film.

Despite his many years of climbing and bouldering I was amazed to learn that Rich had never been to the Hollow Mountain Cave. Naturally, he was like a kid in a candy store. Here he is doing one of the problems on the edge of the cave which is actually quite high. Short people like myself must jump for the first holds. Awsome problem with some fun heal hooks. Rich, in his excitement took very little time to jump straight into the bouldering in the Cave.
Eyes lit up, and crash mat in place, he made easy work of this v6. The friction on the rock was incredible, due to the cool temperature. Photo: Emily Butler. 35mm print film.

Matt Wrigley on his "Pretty Hate Machine". It's a V14 which consists of over 30 moves on a horizontal roof, and then tops out of Hollow Mountain Cave in the Grampians, Australia. And yes, it's harder than Klem Loskot's famous V14 "Cave Rave" which lives in the same cave. Photo: L Skidmore, Sony Digital.

The entrance to the famous Hollow Mountain Cave (home to at least two V14's). Walk up the tourist track from the Hollow Mtn carpark, when you hit the rock turn left and climb the tourist track up the rock gully and onto the rocky slab. When below the bright orange vertical wall walk right for a few hundred metres and duck into the depths of the cave.

Heres a picture of luke on Bitch Slap V7, at loopey's, Hollow Mountain area of Mt Stapylton. Luke is about to try and pull the crux which involves a huge pull of a poor sloper.
