West face Garden climbEven though it was the first day of March, the sun beating down on the rocks made for a beatiful day of climbing. Unfortunately, the scenery was spoiled by the ambulances coming for a free climber who forgot that the sandstone turns to sand under your feet.

Dylan Scott on Finger DirectThis is a great route at the Garden of the Gods. Since there is only one piton it's best to either climb Finger ramp or Finger traverse and set up the toprope. It's rated a 5.10. My friend Rob Hanson shot the picture.

Anaconda 5.11cNice 3 pitch climb at the garden, most people only climb the first pitch at 5.10. A nice hand crack that seems to fit your hands perfectly.

Garden Classic!!Anaconda (5.11c) in the Garden of the Gods of Colorado Springs is an incredibly majestic climb. Here I am clipping the second fixed piece after sewing up the bottom section. The precarious perch below propelled me to place an extra piece or three.
