gblauer heading to the base of Crimson Crescent. The climb starts on the right side of the base, diagonals a bit left, then straight up the soaring roof to the left.

gblauer through the crux on P4 of Crimson Crescent, a Sedona Spire. The traverse under the roof is much harder than Matinee at the gunks!

gblauer at the top of Crimson Crescent, as Sedona Spire. It was super windy, hence the billowing jacket.

Manny leading P3 on a very blustery day in March. P3 is one of the easier pitches, with decent rock and pro. It takes you to the base of the soaring arch/crescent.

gblauer whining at crux on P4 of the Crimson Crescent. It's hard to see from the photo, but, there are no feet, crappy hands and it's nearly vertical. Once you commit to the moves (getting square on to the face) the holds improve. A very exciting pitch even for a 2nd.

gblauer climbing the namesake of this climb, the crimson crescent. Once you get to the top of the corner, you make a dicey and thin traverse, protected by 4 bolts to the belay. anchor
