Heard about the classic and had to do it. Nice climb, worth the trip.

Fantastic climb up a fin with a large hole in it. One of the best of Mt Rushmore.

Perfect day of climbing in the good 'ol Black Hills on Gossamer. Great, fun, and short sport route.

An amazing route pointed out to us by a guy at the local gear store. Black hills were truly an amazing place: great camping, great climbing--great faces, great places--that's the state moto of South Dakota I think. Photo taken by Lauren DeMattia.

This is Rojay on Rushmore Rocks Classic Gossamer. Her is at the second bolt, approaching the third. Right after this he took a fall right before the 3rd bolt, and Gossamer took a bite out of him. Skinned his stomach, and arms... BAD!!! You have to love granite!! But he got right back on her and finished up!! I highly recommend this climb to anybody!!! Great layback!!

A simple toprope, just caught the light in a good way. This is a stellar climb not to be missed!

This is the Picture Window flake at Rushmore. You can't tell from the picture, but it is only about 6 inches thick at the top. Gossamer climbs the right side, and Broken Window climbs the face left of the window.

Gossamer (5.7), everyone who goes to Monster Area needs to do this climb. Beautiful!
