Hitchcock Pinnacle, Mt. Lemmon

Average Rating = 3.00/5 Hitchcock Pinnacle, Mt. Lemmon

Happy toproping on the Hitchcock Pinnacle at Mt. Lemmon. I showed this photo to my mom and she gasped, thinking I was hundreds of feet off the ground. I just love climbing photos that create an exaggerated feeling of exposure. :)

Big Roof, Small Girl

I must have fallen off of this roof a dozen times. It became pretty amusing after a while. Clearly I need to get my butt to the gym and pump up those guns! Hitchcock Pinnacle, Mt. Lemmon.

My Little Sis

Average Rating = 3.00/5 My Little Sis

If you don't like tourons watching you climb stay far away from this tower. From the top you can almost spit on passing cars. I took my little sister and her boyfriend out climbing. Neither are climbers but they were in Tucson the same time I was and they wanted to go. My sister made it up with just a little help (she didn't have climbing shoes). Her boyfriend was to scared to try after trying a little climbing earlier on the practice cliff across the road.

gbmaz climbing to the top of Hitchcocks

Average Rating = 3.00/5 gbmaz climbing to the top of Hitchcocks

This is me climbing the standard 5.7 route on Hitchcocks Pinnacle on Mt Lemmon. While the route is short, the view from the top is amazing. It should be nolted that the route is at least 2 grades harder when there is music blasting from the cars in the Windy Point parking lot and folks are yelling "Look ma he's rappelin' up that rock!"
