This is the start of ethnic cleansing(12b/c). A great overhanging route in the right bunker at Fosters.

This is the dyno on ethnic cleansing(12b/c). It is actually a fairly easy(5.10ish) move and lots of fun.

I love this climb because it's so steep, and for the long dynamic move you have to make - after five tiny but positive crimps when you're totally horizontal - to reach this hand hold (pictured). You're pretty high above the bolt too so it's a little spicy, but no big deal really because any fall is all air in the Bunkers. Photo by Gabe Peoples, who hung in a tree for the shot.

Matthew Gant climbs the juggy roof of gas chamber, located in the right bunker at foster falls. The crux is a v3/4 bouldery sequence moving from the roof to gain the upper dihedral. Photo taken by Dave Pollard on 5/21/05.

It took a frame by frame search through 5 minutes of video to find any position where I looked like I had any chance of climbing this 5.13a.
However...20 more feet and there is a family of grand-daddy long leg spiders camping below the chains.

Photo taken by Matthew in the Spring of 2003. Jeff on the crux of Somethings always wrong. The second half of this ~65' sport route is slightly overhanging and pumpy.

John Hur takes the big swing on the crux dyno of Ethnic Cleansing (5.12). Sqeaking in before the onset of the truely hot weather, he redpointed (next try) in the day's last light. This route is generally pretty tight, and a good introduction to the hard climbing of the bunkers.
