This is the pendulum/aid pitch on direct south buttress of mt. moran. It's quite airy and when the wind is kickin' around 50mph the feeling of exposure soars above anything i've felt before.

This shot was taken by tradclimbinfool - but he isn't on the board enough so I don't expect him to put this on. We were at the CMC camp and went to bed early b/c of the rain, but were woken up by the sun - looked out of the tent and had this view!

This is the wonderful - relaxing - beautiful approach to Mt Moran - CMC face. . . boy does it suck you in! That day the lake was 'glass' and we felt like we were on a treadmill.

My first taste of true alpine climbing. The CMC Route on Mt. Moran features semi-exposed climbing above the Falling Ice Glacier. Once on the summit of Mt. Moran, the climber is rewarded with a beutiful view of the Snake Valley and Teton Range. The climber in the photograph is alpinerocket (John)

This is the summit of Mt. Moran, with the Tetons in the background. Two days later, we climbed the Grand Teton. This is one of the most beautiful places on the planet....

David Lucander with way too much gear on Mt. Moran's CMC Face, finding fifth class terrain on this is difficult.
