Bad fall potential at the start dosent get much better on your way up. This is the last gear before the top out 20ft away. Bring offsets nextime

Sean hopes to jam something into the shallow crack, but after realizing nothing will stick, he runs out the remainder of the pitch, crux included, 15ft above his last stopper

Sean battles his way up Pauper**** 5.10bRX at quartz mountain. This crack is anything but incouraging.

One bolt below, One more to go
Cool customer! Wish I'd kept camera in hand for pictures of Chris (belaying) on Snow White 10b RX, another 2-bolter on the left.

Detail just for variety, see if it looks any better than the big one.

Kicking off an afternoon of family-oriented climbing with Accidents Will Happen, in order to set up a TR for the crew. Fun route, though, and heady when you get, oh, 15-20 feet above that first bolt . . .
Accidents DIDN'T Happen, though.

Rob starts 'em early... hate to say it, Rob, but I only give you about 3 years before you can't keep up with him!

My first attempt at topo work, gives you a basic idea of where some of the climbs are on the Sea of Screams wall.

The Hobbit is an excellent crack climb. The crux, I would say is at the beginning of the first pitch, and the beginning of the last pitch. Wroyce is taking the photo of Karie right before sunset..in the background you can see the tailgate party from the Quartz gathering. So fun!!

Nice view from the Hobbit at the Quartz Gathering. My friend Dave and I climbed the fun 2 pitch crack for the early morning warm up.
