i think this is wormhole (5.8) 7 bolts and bolted anchor. my first lead climb. echo dome is hot in the summer.

fun climb, beautiful location, very secluded

Quiet a bit of fun on this Route. The book says it is a 5.8 climb, but i would rate it as a 5.7

Steven Charles took this photo of me on Finger Licken, which is a pretty good route, i just wish it was longer. The crux seems to be clipping the last bolt on frosted flakes, but the rest is pretty straight forward.

Right after the clipping the last bolt of frosted flakes (crux) I moved up and to the left. This was a pretty good route.

i THINK this was on ladybugs...? did i mention i'm new?

This is echo dome. Crack pipe is the crack on the left, frosted flakes goes in between that and the next crack, the Little Sherman Creature Crack. Worm hole passes up to the right of that over the big flake tunnel that looks like a diagonal overhang here. The routes on the right start behind the rock in the foreground with some bolted slab.

I thought that this picture looked so neat that i should do another one like it. I also have the original of this picture posted so you can see it by clicking here.

in my opinion. But Im a crack whore, turning down numerous bolted lines to either side.

Bren finishing worm hole at echo dome. This ended a day of relaxed climbing full of easy leads. The weather was better than it had been in a while so we made sure to take advantage of it.

Bren leading worm hole. It was a very relaxing day with some easy leads and fun had by all in attendance. I thought this was a little different than other butt shots but i could be wrong.

This is the view of Crab Eyes from Echo Dome. I think I actually took this the day that the war with Iraq started. Didn't find out 'til a couple days later though.

Yah, growing up in Michigan, this is what I pictured the west looking like. I dig this view. There's alot of great rock in the Wichitas. Who would've guessed that Oklahoma had such a treasure?

Justin on lead during our spring break visit to the Wichitas in March 2003. He flew up this flakey granit route in no time.

Drew (Climber_osu) after he takes the sharp end from our friend Kansas who fell and busted up his ankle about halfway up the route.

Justin clips the hidden bolt and takes a short breath before heading higher to the Crux of the climb. The climb is an easy 5.8 and he has no trouble pulling it off.

A windy and eventually rainy day still holds a cool view for Justin from the Echo Dome just beneath Worm Hole.

This was a great day of Climbing. This was a well worth onsight.
