This is a nice little roof on good, clean rock. Beautiful Oct. day in Pine Grove Furnace State Park.

This is a very easy climb at Pole Steeple, Pine Grove Furnace State Park. Great to bring your kids or beginner friends.

It's not the Gunks or anything but a nice little piece of rock for PA and you get a nice walk through the woods to boot. This is me leading The Nose at Pole Steeple.

this is me sitting on the overhanging "big nose" on a january day hike. There is a spectacular view of laurel lake from the top (pic right).

I took this picture looking down on Caleb and Jake (brother) while repeling down the face of Pole's Steeple. I was about 1/4 of the way DOWN the rope when I took this shot. (DISCLAIMER: I did not take this picture WHILE repeling! Jake had me stopped!)

This is a view of Steeple #2's face. Kind of looks like a person in somewhat of a reclining position. It has great footing except for one spot about midway up which requires the climber to use mostly upper body strength to roll onto a small ledge. Soloed and photographed by myself, Trux, on 9/20/03.
