The name of this route escapes me at the moment but SUCH a fun climb. This was taken of me (Erin) near the end of our day, by my friend Shane. We do an annual trip to smith and this year was one of the best. As a beginner climber I enjoyed Rope de dope, because there are several options and a few different climbing styles available...plus its a great spot to begin to lead on.

This is "Rope-De-Dope Block" in contrast with the other monstrous areas of Smith Rock.

This was a really tuff climb for me. It has a tricky start but gets easier after the bulge.

This is ~T~ and Brody's first camping trip to go climbing and I was so glad I was there to share it with them... I hope it was just the first of many trips we will go on together!

This is the big crack on Rope De Dope Block. Pretty easy climb, but nice and sustained. GREAT to climb at almost all day because you always have shade. But the approach to the top for roping up is a daisy chain aid ladder. Kinda sketchy. Especially with all the sun it gets. Dang thing gonna break one of these days.
