Greetings and Namaste! Sanirang Alpine Networks is offering free top-rope artificial wall climbing clinics to anyone interested in learning the very basics of rock climbing or just want to hang out and have a little fun. Although instruction is limited to the basics, the ropes will be up and ready for anyone to tie-into and climb. All beginners and the not-so beginners are welcome to join! All free clinics go every Wednesday in Daechi Dong. Clinics will run from 9:00 ~ 12:00. Climbing harness, shoes and helmet set can be rented for the very reasonable price of FREE . FREE Sanirang Alpine Network t-shirts will be handed out to those who come to participate; however, you must at least try and climb in order to get one. There is a limit of one shirt per person or until out of stock for that day. This clinic will continue through March and into June every Wednesday. All participants must sign a release of liability waiver at the site of location in order to receive a t-shirt, also. Dropping in is fine; however, it would be very helpful to know who is interested by first contacting info@sanirang.net. Those who do come, please bring water, wear loose fitting clothing that won't constrict movement and an enthusiastic frame of mind. For directions, please refer to the posted map image. The easiest way is to take a cab(no more than a few bucks) from one of the three subway stations: --Yellow BunDang Line Hanti Station Exit#2 --Green Line#2 Samsung Station Exit#2(by foot) or Exit#3(by cab) -- Line#3 HakYeoEul Exit #1 The easiest way aside from walking is to print this map out before taking off. Not all the cab drivers are familiar with this park, as it is hidden and sunken from the view of the main roads.
