This thing just doesn't give it up - a great fun, well-bolted climb

This climb is amazing, I didn't want it to end! It had everything - starting with a couple of technical vertical moves to some really balancy slab moves to a nice layback crack to juggy overhangs to a small roof. 13 bolts worth of fun!

This is a nice quality slabby 5.9 - I am just pass the crux and really happy to have made it.

Brilliant day, with the sun burning away the remains of the rain clouds and moisture from the day before. (credits to Tom Fischer)

Its September and Summersville lake is low enough to allow access to this beautiful cliff. It will be acessible until about May and then will be surrounded by water again.

I was so afraid of the height at the time, I was scared to open my eyes, so my friend took pictures! :) Then there was the scramble down... *shiver* :)

First time bouldering outside of the gym. It was fun! We had so much trouble reading the topo's that we couldn't figure out which route was which, so we just bouldered on the ones that looked cool.

Awesome climb, xcept I don't remember its name and don't have the topo around. This is the one to the left of Hippie Girl Dreaming. Has an imposing-looking roof but the crux is actually above that when it comes out at you a bit and all the hand-holds get slopy. Just remember - the stuf for the feet is solid!

This is the view of Cathedral Peak from the approach - taken May 30th 2001 - it was a brilliant day, my 6th time climbing, and I've never even heard of trad before... made it to the top! (although did leave a bit 'skin and blood out there on the granite)
