We tried camping underneath an overhang near the chicken couloif but got too freaked to sleep because of the rockfall.

The ice ended up being a lot steeper than it looked. I got to pull a pretty fun bulge.

I got all the sick leads through the first rock band.

We had a desperation bivy in the middle of the first rock band. It went from a bum ledge to a hanging bivy. Didn't get any sleep.

The gully to my right is where I ended up hanging for my four hour rest.

I got yet another killer lead. This gulley was super sick a little bit of rock and some super thin alpine ice. Primo.

This route was so killer. This is just above the second rock band.

Yeah the summit slopes on the Cassin are a real ball buster.

At some point one has accept certain things in life...I'm a goofy looking bastard.

You have no idea where the top is until you are standing on it.

November 2003 we climbed Pumori's SW ridge to the summit snow slopes which were far to unstable to climb with any respect for our lives. The climb offered some great shots of the big guy (Everest).

In the Khumbu it takes a concerted effort to not get good mountain photos. This one was shot from our basecamp.

We got a look at almost every aspect of this mountain. We acclimated on Island peak and stared at the south Pilar in wonder. We then set up shop on Pumori and its west face was a constant companion

This was a magnificently exposed ridge. This was my best day on the climb, unfortunately the weather deteriorated and we had to descend. But we were all smiles after that pitch.

I have about a thousand of these pictures. This was my first trip to the Himalayas and my first major go at technical high altitude line. So I shot way too many of these.

This is a shot from my first trip to Red Rocks. This is the Brilliantly bolted "Rebel Without a Pause." It has some fun moves and a clip that is a royal pain.

Sometimes the line just goes up. This was on lotta balls wall. The line supposedly goes left but I took the face cause lines up? Anyway, I found a couple of pockets that took cams.

I love Red Rocks. You can do anything there. Frogland is s 5.7-5.8 10 pitch route that is a lot of fun and has a great view of Vegas.

This is a kinda-line on the lotta balls wall in Red Rocks. It was trad protected and a lot of fun but the actual line goes along the right crack, I just didn't know where I was going.

This is me avoiding crack on the second pitch on Serenity Crack. That is one perfect climb. I later learned to enjoy crack.

This is an advantage of living in a glaciated area. Bottomless moulains to satisfy your summer cravings.

Top roping is alright if the bottom is unknown. July ice on top of Suicide Icefall. This was a massive Moulain.
