This is a picture of the volcano from the “Altiplano”, is located in the “Parque Nacional Sajama” of Bolivia, close to the border of Chile.

This is the first leader climb of A. I. Soruco Aloisio, and she did it “on sight”. Even though the route is easy (5.7) the rock is extremely rouge and the slope is 85° so a fall may hurt so much. Photo: R. Pizarro.
