this is a picture of the upper area of the Quebrada de naciemento so you get an idea of what the area looks like, the canyon gets tighter near the lower reaches but maintains this look more or less.

This is a picture of the first easily distinguishable boulder once you've passed the two soccer fields. There are a few problems on the backside of this rock, and the crack can be climbed and is a good place to learn to place pro in granite (takes bigger pieces)

here is a picture of the beautiful berdorf canyon and one of the more stunning and strange things you can see in it.

This is the northern side of las chilcas at the end of winter, don't expect to see it this green. See if you can spot the climbers in the rather dark spot in the middle of the pic, just a spec, should give you some idea of the scale. There are routes on this face but they're new and not in the guide book

This is aldo starting a traverse on an unnamed crack close to las cujas beach of cachagua, this one was a bit painful on the hands because it was a wrist jam, fingers wouldn't work and fists didn't fit!

this is me chalking up before moving on to the crux of calypso, a nice slabby 11a, nothing but side crimps from that point!

here I am mounting calypso, there are many variants, few of them easy and all involve crimpers. this was a nice evening for climbing altho the rock was pretty wet.

One beautiful senset (in the other pics) yielded this picture, thankfully the camera still worked after falling like homer did down springfield canyon (funnily we'd just talked about that before it happened)

This is me finishing the mounting of Double Impact at the Roca Oceanica of vina del mar, it gets a lot harder from the terrace on upwards! excellent route though!

This is the hanging glacier near the thermal springs of puyuhuapi in chile's 11th region, note the huge rock wall just below it and to the right, as far as I know it's unclimbed.
