Sunrise on Wallface

Average Rating = 1.00/5 Sunrise on Wallface

This was taken by Tom as Caleb led P1 of Mental Blocks (once again, i'm stuck belaying - but i got my leading in P3-4). He's fortunately already through the bushaneering section of the pitch, and onto the beautiful zig-zag crack leading to the belay ledge. We were on route for just under 12 hours that day, for a party of 3. Two of us had never aided before, and 3 of the pitches had aid on them - it was WELL worth the long day for such a fun, excellent route!!

Aid traverse to blue bliss

Average Rating = 3.00/5 Aid traverse to blue bliss

Tom is only two moves away from the second belay after aiding the roof of the first aid pitch of Mental Blocks. The inside corner was bit wet that day, but everything else was just perfect. Caleb took the shot on my camera while i was belaying.

El Caliente!!!

Average Rating = 0.00/5 El Caliente!!!

After hiking out of the Enchantment Range, no reason just to head right to the airport when there's crack to be climbed across the street!! What an excellent short crack, even though it delayed celebratory beers from a great week of climbing in the Pacific NW . . . photo taken by Bob B.

My first time on a glacier.

Average Rating = 2.20/5 My first time on a glacier.

Nothing like a little sun to remind me how stupid i can be. I didn't have any problems on the route, and it didn't affect the rest of the trip, so all was good when the swelling went down. I just had to use a straw with my nalgene.
