Maple's Rock

Average Rating = 0.00/5 Maple's Rock

This rock is awesome. Every cobble is a hold, if held correctly.

A view of the top from the top

Average Rating = 3.00/5 A view of the top from the top

After warming up on my favorite easy multi-pitch, I took this picture looking at the unclimbed summit, south side of the Potrero.

On the Top

Average Rating = 3.67/5 On the Top

This is a shot I took from the top of Time Wave Zero. It is an incredible site at about 2400 ft. We climbed it in 1 day and had an encounter with a rattlesnake on pitch 12, the bivy ledge, on the decent.

Bolted Tree in Houston Tx

Average Rating = 0.00/5 Bolted Tree in Houston Tx

In Houston, Tx there isn't to much to climb outdoors. This is a pic of a tree in my back yard that we bolted. We used real limestone holds from left over rock after making a fireplace. The tree isn't finished in the pic. Since then we have cut down some branches and so it is about 55 to 60 ft. and we build a roof about 7 ft off the ground off the back of the tree. We used Metolius bolts and just chains at the top. The tree is leaning towards the house so the tree will have to be cut down in a couple of years.

Nice roof

Average Rating = 3.33/5 Nice roof

This is the 5.12 roof route above the 5.10 Comotos, its a steller route. I lost my feet looking for the next hold around the lip, luckily my friend Matt got a good pic before I got my feet back on.

Trying to get to the Continental Ranch

Average Rating = 1.83/5 Trying to get to the Continental Ranch

One late afternoon a few of us decided to go the the Continental Ranch, got the ok to go out, but wanted to get a couple of climbs in before night, so had to make up time. Easy to do when your in west Texas. We made record time. But where did all the gas stations go? If you wanted to know, the car is a 92 Ford Taurus SHO.
