Walking the line one saturday night in montana

we start at one end and work to the tree then turn around and do it again...fun to some like me.

Concouring the route...a good feeling, that second when no one else matters and you beam with pride. Then you remember that tons of people have done this route and your nothing special.

We finished tearing down in the nick of time to watch the sunset and fumble our way down in the dark.

Sherry's amazing rope throw that landed in the branches of the closest tree...10 minutes later we were able to begin the climbing.

I have been trying to finish this route since I came to Billings almost two years ago...so I'll keep trying.

As the light faded the climbing got harder and oddly more fun.

I don't know any one or heard of any one getting this route. Rusty, Nate and I tried for half a day and still walked away defeated.

just hang'n out in Rushmore...just finish a great climb. In fact it was the highest lead climb I've done yet.

this was a sweet climb with huge holes big enough for Sherry to get into.

we got good at the ground level slackline so we decided to step it up a noch and try the 2nd story...it was harder than we had first thought.

We were out climbing and a got sherry's shadow caught in the sun...turned out good.

We slept, We climbed, We laughed...all in all we had a blast riding around in the beat up Brown Bomber Van.
