climbing pitch 6, fun pitch, excellent exposure all the way down the east face.

my partner heading off on pitch 8. watch out for runnoff on this pitch! the crack is a north face drainage, get to the belay before the sun leaves the wall! the belay is crap, one new bolt, two old pins, a 1/4 death bolt and a semi new missing the hanger.

a gorgeous february day, aiding up birch tree crack. with only a limited amount of large cams aiding this requires some long stretches to good hook moves between gear placements.

upper diagonal makes a pretty dang good practice aid climb. my partner has lead it the last couple of times we've been out and he's starting to get the hang of the old thrash and dangle. with a contant traverse its a good workout on your cleaning skills as well.
