A View Between DomesI took a camping trip out to E-Rock for my B-day. None of my friends climb trad and no one was that interested in climbing, much to my dismay. We still had a fun time hiking around though.

Potrero Chico Limestone againMy friend compared Potrero Chico to a massive church organ. I have to agree. One of my favorite things about Potrero were the palm trees perched precariously on top of limestone stacks. Tenacious little guys.

Great thing to wake up toThis is what I got to step out of my tent to at Potrero the first morning. We came in on a cloudy night so I didn't really get to check it out, but it was looking pretty majestic(if wet) the next morning

The Fin AgainThe look down from my friend's hanging belay. Looked like it was about to rain so instead of doing the usual one person climbs up and cleans, second person hikes around routine for this route, I climbed after him.

The FinThe tree he is at is the anchor for the one topropable route on the Fin. A short but strenuous hike gets you to a 4 foot wide stip of rock with about a 15' drop on either side. Gradually the drop on the right side gets longer on longer until its about 50 feet of sustained climbing on jugs. Super fun route, lots of loose rock, belayer really needs a helmet here.

Justin pullin' through the crux on Center PocketShort fun sport route, the crux is pulling down on a sharp pocket to reach a not-so-bomber hold.
