Charlene topropingCharlene is following a fun route up Big Rock. This was the first time she ever made a climb over 100ft since then we have been back several times so she can get the kind of climbing she excels at friction addiction much?

Packing gearCaleb was packing his rope after bringing me up the route he climbed. (Charlene) The route down to my left or on my right side is a low angle sandstone slab. I free-soloed up the around 35-40ft slab and found good places up top to belay a 2nd up in this case Charlene. I would give the route 5.8 if you copied my moves. Weighing 230 I don't trust a lot of the holds most people can and do. However, if you use standard holds and trust them easily a 5.6. I do not recommend free-soloing to anyone. To verify you are on the right route at the top is a piton jammed in to a depression easily visible looks like someone used it either as a back up or rappelled off it at some point. Lots of rock horns to use as a aid/backup in bringing someone up top just look down the depression.

Fun 5.11c short mtn overhangAwesome trad route with ample places for protection cams mostly all though to protect your start you might bring a few small to medium nuts. 1 bolt 3 quarters way up route and 2 fixed wires.
