A sign just west of the END-OF-THE-ROPE CragThis sign is just west (heading uphill from the left-most end) of the END-OF-THE-ROPE Crag. It points the way to PIGEON STOOL WALL, DIAGONAL WALL and CHIMNEY BRICK WALL. It's literally spitting distance from the route GREEN VELVET.

High in the lichen-covered wall near the top of Satisfy My SoulThis route starts just to the left of the left edge of The Cirque. The crux is right above the belay bolt, then a lengthy traverse to the left and up the red lichen-covered wall. Topping out required grabbing soil and shrubbery.

Trad meets Lab?My buddy, Theron practices some aid, while my trusty rock hound, 'Chevy' stands guard. He's gone now, (the dog, not the climber), but his memory lives on. At almost 15, he's been surfing, rock climbing, backpacking, white-water rafting, flown in an old Lockheed Super-Constellation, and lived in CA, FL, MD, NY, ME and WA. Quite a life he had!

Good View of the StainThe Stain is not the route being climbed, it is the obvious route through the dark stained area. It's not actually a stain, as much as it is a separation in the rock.

Right Face! That's me, heading up the right-most face climb. Holds are thin, but generally solid, except for an occaisional hold that has worked itself free due to the heavy moisture this wall gets.

Pt. Dume - Climbing the AreteThis is the notorious Point Dume Arete, and a good representation of its exposure. A good first lead since its technically easy, but has a good amount of exposure. The bolts might be a little run-out for the newly-christened leader.
