#1 is the dirt road leading up to the climbs. The suby is parked about 200 ft from hair raiser buttress. #2 is good ole route 120 between benton and lee vining. #3 is a small rock outcrop that will block partial view if you are coming from lee vining.

This is the beginning of "Dike route"(.9r). The climbers ahead of us are on the 2nd pitch of "zee Tree"(.7). Tuolomne is heaven, with the view so astounding and the routes so well worth it you cant have a bad day.

On this beautiful day I was following a friend who works at NRP up west pole. The roof looks intimidating but its not, you just have to pull on some loose rock to get over. Fortunately, it cant fall out.

the first pitch and 2nd pitch are visible here. We free soloed the first 20 feet to a nice ledge then set up there. Brian from NRP led the whole thing. Was much more interesting as a single pitch.

This is a pic I took after the road from yellowstone to jackson hole opened back up. When I was there in early march of 2002 it closed numerous times. A little cloudy but this was still a beautiful site after being there 2 days and not being able to see much of the mountains at all.

It was 60 in the sun on the east fin saturday morning. Here is Brian(NRP employee) climbing a 5.10a that Dr. Pete and I both lead afterwards. Pete said he hadnt free climbed since last year. We both grabbed the last draw at the end. Caving in the winter does NOT keep me in shape at all.

Me and pete on top of the last pitch of Millenium. This is the longest climb in WVa, a 9 pitch 1000ft climb that goes at 5.8 I think.
