This is Tony (nailzz) milking the last obvious foothold on Dogpile. Still a project for me, but this climb is pretty solid, and fun!!!

My first taste of true alpine climbing. The CMC Route on Mt. Moran features semi-exposed climbing above the Falling Ice Glacier. Once on the summit of Mt. Moran, the climber is rewarded with a beutiful view of the Snake Valley and Teton Range. The climber in the photograph is alpinerocket (John)

This is the summit of Mt. Moran, with the Tetons in the background. Two days later, we climbed the Grand Teton. This is one of the most beautiful places on the planet....

The outside corner is the left facting arete that climbs for roughly three full length pitches. If you squint you can see Alpinerocket (belaying on top) and Nailzz on the last pitch.

Jeremy leading Penal Atrophy. This route features positive holds, but the leader must decipher the proper sequence.

Steep to slightly overhanging rock. This route is sustained and protects well with 9 bolts.

After catching my breath, I settle down on this nice ledge to belay my partner. After climbing nearly 150 feet to gain the top....

Bring your friction shoes. Although not very vertical, this rock features some delicate feet. Definitely a three star route.

If you are going to have crumpled up toes.... they may as well be blue. Thanks to Nikegirl, all the Rc.com'ers were wearing blue toes...

If you look close (real close) you can see me on the top. Roughly 150 feet of climbing, and only 9 bolts makes this a sustained, solid 5.8 climb.

I attempted this route on lead (5.9) and was not successful. It wasn't much easier on toprope. The forearms were burnin' bad. I am disappointed in that I did not get a redpoint. Next time!(photographer:: SLCNewbe)

A mini arete with a small finger crack finish. ~easy climbing.... but still using pro. Pete's Rock, Salt Lake City Utah. Nobody leads here, mostly top-rope problems. The place needs a good sandblasting to get rid of the spray paint.
