I've fallen one too many times on this route. Next weekend it's all over. (I'm not saying when next weekend is)

I think this is the right route. We did this route and many others on this wall that day. My bud Willy from kentucky is my belayer.

We did this one and several others that day. The snow in the back ground made for a cold new years day.

This is what happens when you get a little too used to hiking in flip flops. I made about a 6 or 7 foot jump, but left some skin on the bottom rock.

This is me a few years ago just after getting back into sport climbing. Bouldering has mostly taken over my life, but enjoy any form of climbing.

this is a pic of the main mineshaft looking from the 60. Everything is covered in a foot and a half of snow!

This is a great "easier" problem. Long overhanging v3ish to a less overhanging finish. Topout is actually the crux with surprisingly small holds on top and 1 hidden pocket in the crack. Once pumped from the overhang, it feels like a harder climb.

Dustin stayin dry on this sortof tall boulder over the river. The river looks awesome with the snow runoff. Much cooler than summer pics of this area.

I pulled a 50 lb boulder on my face later this day when scrambling to see another climb. If not for a small nearby tree/bush to catch my fall, this could have been much messier. 6 stitches, head to toe cuts and a

Nice area, a 2 move v3 was given almost double the point value at the last pbc in this area, even though this is a v5.

This is in the first area you get to in cooperstown from the road. Some fun climbs here and easy to chase shade. Good for most times of the year and no (virtually) bugs.

I have fallen twice from the topout (25 feet) crux move is where i have my upper hand about 20 feet of the deck to an in your face mantle with a heelhook. I am 6'2 and my taller looking spotter is actually standing on a big rock and is about 6' tall. Hope that gives some height perspective. Every time i get up and start to heelhook, i think of falling 25 feet on my back.

i like this area in QC. Not bouldered too much and has some fun routes. Rock is a little sharper than higher traffic areas though
