There are a lot of things wrong with this photo, but it shows you the line that Liberal Tendencies follows. The Hueco below my feet is about 12 feet off the ground. The first part of the climb is up to the Hueco. After that you follow the left leaning outcropping that I am on in the picture, till you get to the corner. The final step is up and around the corner to the anchors.

Deer crosssing is a fun athletic, overhanging climb.

This is moss on Liberal Tendencies. Its one of my favorite climbs in Iowa. Interesting moves and just the right amount of pump.

It was a beautiful day and this was the first lead. To start the climb, you chimney climb between the rock and the wall till you can pull yourself up on the rock, place a foot on the wall and then shift your weight to the wall.

Yarding on the buckets of Flash is one of the reasons its hard to get a good nights sleep anywhere else after the dust of Iowa has settled on your brow.

Here I am hanging on a draw, my first time up Flavor Blasted Spermacide, trying to figure out how to move up without pulling any flowers or killing a fern.

This is a view of the Oak Creek Overlook climbing area from the overlook.

This route is on the left hand side of the Damn Wall at Palisades-Kepler State Park in Iowa.

This shows where four cliff swallow nests were... on the crux of hourglass hi-ball left. Cliff swallows build their nests to be used for several years. They are migratory birds and the nests might seem abandoned during parts of the year. There is no way of knowing how this happened. This kind of damage endangers access. Be careful!

This picture shows the crack which makes up the bulk of Fissure of Orlando. The crack starts about 10 feet off of the ground.
