The Great Victor Blanco Launching Pocket RocketAt New Joe's, Joe's Valley, Ut., exists a myriad of amazing problems on bullet Tensleep Sandstone. Victor Blanco is shown here on Pocket Rocket. Located on the Anarchy boulder, attempts are sometimes complete chaos, but success comes to those who are King. I took this photo on my second trip to Joe's back in the spring of '99 I believe.

Dodging Bullets on Ruby ShooterHere I am a few summers ago on one of the better .12a routes at Wild Iris, Wyoming. Ruby Shooter has great movement from the slightly technical slab, to the sinker pockets in the steeps. A very fun route, worth shootin' down.

Rounding the first corner on the Halo Traverse.Yours truly cruisin' through the steepest part of the traverse. Despite the quality of the rock, the movement on this problem is really fun. A very Steep West face with everything from jugs to terrible crimps and slopers usually makes for an excellent bouldering session. Marc is trying to fire off an eliminate that is about V6.
