This is a rope rug that I tied out of the end of one of my retired ropes. It is knot number 2270 from Ashley's Book of Knots. It took about 10m of 10.5mm rope.

This is my dad climbing Brief Encounter. It was a pretty windy day, but the sun was shining and it was nice to be outside. We were planning on doing some multipitches, but the airline lost my luggage.

This is my mom climbing Panty Loon (I think). It was her first time to Red Rocks and she loved it. We had planned to do some multipitches, but the airline lost my luggage. Next time.

I climbed Mt. Rainier via the Ingraham Direct route while hiking parts of the Pacific Crest Trail in the summer of 2000. I know, I know, the ladder is poor climbing style (I was considering posting this to the aid section), but we did hike all the way from Canada to get there.

Cone Mountain taken in Late December 2001. Looks like there might be some good routes up there, check out bivouac.com for info on possible routes. Cone Mountain is also the start/end of a nice looking ridge traverse.

We stopped for lunch here on our way out from the Bryant Creek Shelter in early January 2002. This picture is not actually in Mt. Assiniboine Provincial Park, but it is on one of the most popular hiking approaches into the park.
