Here is another section of my extended 25' of webbing to reach my anchor (phone pole).
Just behind the black buckle, I have the webbing wrapped thru the pre-sewn "rap-Ring" and laced back towards the carabiner, and then to the buckle as a tightener. So I guess that is giving me a 2:1 ratio on that end.

OK, so I set up my line and it is a little too long and short fro my fat arse to walk, but my 3 YO who weighs in just over 40 lbs. loves to walk it.
Next summer, I am sure he will be wanting daddy to set it up more and play more.

Here was my original dilemha. I had the line streched the full length, and was still short of my final anchor by about 25'.
A quick webbing order later, I rigged it up, but it still took a bit. Still not tight enough for my to walk, but I will figure that out over teh winter.

OK, here is me, still tryign to get my line tight enough for my 180 lbs to walk on it....this was about 8 feet from my solid tree anchor...
When I finally did get it tight enough to walk a littel bit, I would 'zing" right off. I need to figuer out a way to shorten the line to make it more walkable.

This is what happens when you leave BOTH of your ropes behind an Hour and a Half away...and so you drive 10 minutes to buy a NEW rope....
You get the pleasure of the first untangeling at the base of the climb.
It took Hanger and I around 10 mintues to flake that new beauty....glad you bought the 60m Hanger:)
Thanx to nikegirl for the pic

Here is the look of a FOOL that throws 2 ropes in one rig after a day of climbing, then takes the other truck to the crag the next day, and didn't realize that the ropes were nowhere to be found until we were 45+ miles away.
Thanx for the pic T.

Here Hangerlessbolt is teaching me some Trad. We Top Roped this route (10a for a trad go, first time, I am a freak) and then I would go up and set the pieces and Robert came behind to check out the placements and such.
Was pretty cool, a fun route too....I will get to the top next time, and not just 10 feet away:)
