Barrett's CoveThis is a photo of Barrett's Cove cliff in mid-October, taken from the town beach at Lake Megunticook across the street from the crag. Note that the right side of the cliff is still dripping two days after the last rain. The middle and left sides tend to dry fairly quickly, however.

dont throw rocksThe "do not throw rocks" sign at the top of the South Bubble in Acadia NP. In case you choose not to heed the sign, the park rangers have left a nice pile of head-turners at the sign's base.

Dreamweaver arete and Rampart's right sideThis is a shot of the Rampart as approached from the climber's trail. On the left you can see the prominent Dreamweaver (11a) arete. On the headwall to the right are the upper portions of the hardest routes at the crag (Ariel, 11d; Renascence, 12c; Resonance, 12d; & Reconnaissance, 13a). To the right of the small oak tree growing out of the crag is the simply named Arete (10b).

Topping out on The Whale (5.6)An onsight lead of The Whale (5.6), a short but fun crack system route at the Lower Tier of Wolf Rock, CT. With the crag only being 40' high, and the climbing as nice as it was, I was wishing I could just keep going. :)
