The route (Death Becomes Her) was a few weeks old, so it still needed some cleaning. Igor has done most of it on his first ascend by braking some of the unstable holds. It was scary...

Super Fuel showed me what's the difference between a route graded upon it's overall difficulty and a route graded upon a single move.

It pisses me off to see him do that! He has not trained for few months, he has crashed his knee few weeks ago and still manages to do harder routes. Igor's first 7a, called Hamavet Nae La (The Death Becomes Her). "Fragment" don't waste your time in studying, man:)

Once it was the only overhanging route in Gitta. Some say it is 7b. We can argue on that. Try it! It's worth it.

Since Igor brought her (the dog), we have been taken Gerda almost on every climbing trip. She is so in to it that, she even tries to belay:) -On belay? -Auwaf!

This was my first attempt to try something harder than 6c. I love this route. It's hard but very technical. Nice balance on small crimps and slopes. It will become a classic, I'm sure of it. Excellent job you guys (Oded & Tsvika) on setting these routes.

Even the easiest routes got me pump like an OB on a first day of a period. I hated this not perticulary high limestone wall. I hope the new bolted routes are better.

My friend and climbing partner Igor, on his way for a very scary clip. There are no more than three moves of 6c, but that's enough to fill you with adrenalin.

That was my first and last time at Gai Ben Hinom crag. It is one of the oldest crags and is so polished that I couldn't place my feet on anything but wide ledges and huge pockets. I've heard that the old bolts were replace lately by the Israel Alpine Club, but I still can't forget the climb there on a single bolt, and believe me it's not a mixed climb.

The slippery wall of the cave and lack of obvious footholds made this 6c+ route to me pretty painful. Anyway the overhang and the exit through the window make it one of the most interesting routes I have ever climbed.

I managed to clip this second quickdraw. The third one was a problem though. I couldn't stabilize my feet and reach out through the window for a much better hold.

Roni has improved greatly during the last few months. Now she is showing some nice moves, although still on top rope. Where are you Arno Ilgner when I need you...:)

An incredible place and an incredible girl. Roni is climbing one of the prettiest routes in North Israel (Beauty 6a).

No power sinks this time. Roni is getting smoothly to the top, making the Beauty one of her first 6a routes. Go on Turkish!!!!

Shilat (route #15 at the IAC guide), a nice 6b+, a slopy handhold came as a surprise and left me hanging in mid air strugling to bring my feet back (unfortunately my partner was too shocked to take that picture), a great climb a great day great photos enjoy :)

got to the owl(tinshemet) hidding place...for all the animal rights activists: don't worry it hasn't been there for ages we just kept the name.

An interesting problem that starts with a crack then traverse to the right and then goes for a shaky balance on a slopy handhold. Libi made me do this move about 10 times until I got it right. the rouet is located to the right of "avot avotenu" around the corner of the 5.8 crack on the face.

I was so glad that I had a top rope for this problem... Finding where to place your feet on this smooth quarry wall was the hardest thing...After you get the jug everything seems to be over, thank God.

After a small delay, Libi got her hands in the right possition, unfortunately it did not make things easier...a dyno is ahead( i guess it sucks being short )

libi is getting her surprise... getting on to the slope libi decided to go cross handed soon enough she will find it's the wrong way ;)
