Not 30 min into the Matacanes run is this nice rapel beside an awesome water fall. Rapel down to a ledge where the bottom guy is standing in the picture... Cut loose and Jump 25+ feet into the pool below! Nice Nice Nice.

Saltamonte climbs a stretch for the first time on this toprope in Cañon Los Pericos. Just before fog rolls and and inspires the "Gorillas in the Mist" theme song to ring out among the Pueblo Mexicano.

Our first outing to climb Los Perícos... Fog rolled in after we set our toprope and descended down to unclimbed territory. Beautiful Day. Thank You God.

Took advantage of some time with my son to hike and check out some new routes in Cañon Santa Rosa near "La Cueva" - this is us resting in front of "The Cave" (which is really just a charred hole, big enough to sit inside and get out of the rain) ... Fathers... invest time in your sons!
