On a trip to the needles we had to stop and admire the accomplishments of John Gill. The problem is very hard and very highball. I'd advise most to toprope it by scrambling up the back to a bolt on top.

I'm not actually sure what route this is, as we had some difficulty following the guidebook on our first trip to Horsetooth. This area had several good roof problems and an awesome thin hands, highball problem.

[Photo by TJ] Trace the pink rope for the line up Orange Crush (5.9). This is one of the longest routes in HCR. You'll need a 60m rope for this one.

[Photo by Kappydane] The crack I'm climbing is "Tales of Ribaldry (5.8)", a fun offwidth/slab climb. The blue rope to the left is on "Gimp & Wheezer (5.9)".

[Photo by Ethan] This is a boulder problem down the hill from the Confederate Cracks. A local climber told us it was a V6, but I don't know the name of it.

kappydane just lead P1, and jedidude is starting to follow him up. I'm tied in 20ft behind and ready to simalclimb once the slack is gone.

Follow from flake to flake up this balancy route.

This route starts with a difficult chimney/roof move into an offwidth crack. Easy face climbing takes you up to the finish crux.
