When viewed from the end of the valley, the fingers I'm between seem to be giving the viewer "the V's up", the Scottish version of the bird. (peace sign backwards).

Ken Noyce (Kennyoce) making the first ascent of this Utahn peak by a desperate new route up the eastern ridge line to the southern slabs. He later admitted in an informal interview that he had made the true first ascent of the peak by the northwestern ridge earlier that day, but he claimed this as the FA because he needed the "attention from potential sponsors".

Maybe the pause wasn't the best first slab route for me. I'm not ashamed to say I almost cried. Okay, I did, but just a little. I've never been that far out before. This is me seconding the technical crux - awkward.

This is me thigh deep in "when doves cry". I don't think I ever made it past this move. It was hard.

This is Bart, some dude from Boulder CO. cruising When Doves Cry, an epic 40+ foot offwidth roof crack. He warned me of the ways of the "angry" one.

At a young age I started two habits which I continue to this day - Climbing and watching McGyver. Note the one-piece full body suit, they were all the rave at the time.

The summit of Ancient art in the Fisher Towers. In my opinion the most stunning rock formation I've ever laid eyes on. Can't wait to climb some more. Also the most striking summit possibly in the world - a teetering corkscrew of rock that the eye tells you should surely fall over from the lightest touch.

For years I'd been dreaming of one day going to British Columbia's Bugaboo Provincial Park. Finally in August '09 I met up with Darkside and for the first time found myself in the Bugs awake. This is me crossing the glacier after climbing Pigeon Spire. The light came out weird but I like it.

Summit of Pigeon Spire. The best 5.4 in the world, I reckon.
