Description:

This flake is located on the north side of Monkey Mountain. hike around the north side considerably lower down than Sharp-n-Shady. A large flake is sticking up out of the ground. It is considerably larger than most bolders around it. The back side of it can be easily ascended to set top ropes or to start a rappel. Good quality limestone. The climb is pretty short but if you set up 2 ropes you can get a lot of climbs in for a group in a short time. Good place for beginners and nice start for several rappels. Also a good location for learning to lead on trad as there are many placements easily available.

Descent Options:

There are 2 routes. On the right nearest the highest point of the flake is a nice crack (5.8) to the left of the crack 15 feet another easier route (5.7)
