Description:

Climb the left side of the falls for the most solid ice. The water is still kicking it pretty good behind the ice in the center. If you're not careful you'll punch a tool or a crampon straight through. For the most part, good protection if you decide to lead it. WI3 or 4 depending on the season.

Descent Options:

Either "bushwack" back up the rocks for about 50 feet to the trailhead above or continue down the stream until you meander close to the trailhead below

5 out of 5 stars A fun climb with a great approach!

The approach is a workout itself! The ice was great that day! Solid ice to the left and right of the falls. I accidentally put my tool straight through to the water in the center. Top roped it and lead it. A lot of fun!
