Description:
Approach: From the parking area, cross the road and head uphill veering right to the main wall above 'The Motherlode'. Once you meet the main cliff band head right passing 'The Prow' until you reach a weakness heading uphill. Follow the trail to the top, head over the hill, and look down and right to see this route. There's a very large dead stump marking the top of the crack. Build an anchor off a tree(s) and rappel down past a bolt to a small ledge above a pine, marking the base of the route. From there, pull your rope and climb out. Make a few bouldery moves past a bolt to a small fingerlock. Place a small cam above your head, then smile as you climb above the finger crack through reachy hand jams and the occasional mini-jug. End with a fun and short offwidth section to the top. 5.10c/d
